Located at 142 E. Hanover Street in Trenton, New Jersey, the Trenton Friends Meeting House is a Colonial Revival Quaker meeting house built in 1739. The building witnessed pivotal moments during the American Revolution: it was occupied by British Dragoons in 1776 and subsequently by the Continental Army, and on July 15, 1776, it hosted a meeting of the Provincial Congress, which later became known as the Convention of the State of New Jersey. Remarkably, the meeting house has remained in continuous use by Quakers since its construction. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.
