Perched above Rome's Spanish Steps, the Church of Santissima Trinità dei Monti is a late Renaissance titular church and monastery complex begun in 1502. Designed by Annibale Lippi, Giacomo della Porta, and Carlo Maderno, it represents a significant phase of Renaissance architecture in the Eternal City. The church occupies a commanding position overlooking the Piazza di Spagna, making it one of Rome's most recognizable landmarks. Today entrusted to the Emmanuel Community, it serves as one of the five Francophone Catholic churches in Rome and holds status as Italian national heritage.
