Trinitatis Church stands in central Copenhagen, Denmark, at the corner of Landemærket and Købmagergade. Built in the time of Christian IV, it initially served the students of Copenhagen University and forms part of the 17th-century Trinitatis Complex with the Rundetårn observatory tower and the university library. Its interior was seriously damaged in a fire in 1728 and rebuilt in 1731.
