Troja Palace is a Baroque château located in the Troja district of north-western Prague, built between 1679 and 1691 for the Counts of Sternberg. Designed by Giovanni Domenico Orsi and Jean Baptiste Mathey, the palace exemplifies the ornate architectural language of its era. Now owned by the city of Prague, it serves as a cultural monument and houses the City Gallery's extensive 19th-century Czech art collections.
