Tsarskoye Selo is a palace complex and museum in the town of Pushkin, about 24 kilometres south of central Saint Petersburg, Russia. It was a former residence of the Russian imperial family and visiting nobility, and its Baroque architecture is associated with the architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli. The complex forms part of the World Heritage Site of Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments. The town was called Detskoye Selo from 1918 to 1937 before being renamed Pushkin after the poet Alexander Pushkin.
