Turku City Hall stands on the bank of the Aura River in Turku, Finland, and is a Neo-Renaissance building. Charles Bassi first designed it in 1810 to 1811 as the restaurant Seurahuone, and it was remodelled as the city hall between 1879 and 1883 under plans by Frans A. Sjöström. The City Council of Turku convenes there, and the second floor is decorated with gold and massive crystal crowning.
