Two World Trade Center, also called the South Tower, was one of the Twin Towers of the original World Trade Center complex in New York City, designed by Minoru Yamasaki in the modern style. Completed in 1973 at 1,362 feet (415 m) to the roof, it was distinguished from its twin by the absence of a television antenna. Struck by United Airlines Flight 175 on September 11, 2001, it was the first of the two towers to collapse, after burning for 56 minutes. The southern pool of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum marks its site.
