The former U.S. Post Office in Smithfield, Johnston County, North Carolina, is a two-story, five-bay brick building in the Colonial Revival style. Designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect and built in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration, its front facade features fluted Ionic pilasters rising to a frieze beneath a broken pediment. The building housed federal offices until 1990, was renovated in 1991 for law offices, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
