Ulm Minster is a Gothic church of the Evangelical Church in Germany in Ulm, Baden-Württemberg, begun in 1377 under the architect Ulrich Ensingen. Though often called a cathedral, it has never been the seat of a bishop. Most of its walls are visible brick, while the towers are stone, and its steeple, at 161.53 metres, is the second-tallest church building in the world.
