The Union Building stands at No. 3 on the Bund in Huangpu District, Shanghai, completed in 1916. Designed by P&T Architects and Surveyors (Palmer & Turner) as their first Shanghai work, it was the city's first steel-framed building. Its six storeys form a symmetrical Neo-Renaissance facade with Baroque details, topped by a domed corner pavilion. Because the Bund frontage is narrow, the main entrance faces Guangdong Road.
