The U.S. Post Office on Delaware Avenue in the hamlet of Delmar, New York, is a small brick Colonial Revival building completed in 1939 to designs by Louis A. Simon, the Treasury Department's supervising architect. It is the only one of the thirteen New York post offices he designed in this style that lacks a cupola. Its lobby mural shows the Indian Ladder at nearby John Boyd Thacher State Park. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
