The United States Post Office on Main Street in Hoosick Falls, New York, stands a block south of downtown. Designed by Louis A. Simon in the Colonial Revival style, the brick building was erected in the mid-1920s, after nine years of government effort following the land's acquisition. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988, the only post office in Rensselaer County besides Troy's to receive that distinction.
