The Utö Lighthouse stands on the summit of Utö island in Pargas municipality, Finland. It replaced Finland's first lighthouse, a round tower destroyed during the Russo-Swedish Wars of 1808–09, with the present structure completed in 1814. The tower is painted to match the signal flag H (Hotel), reflecting the island's maritime pilot station, and its light gives four short flashes, the Morse code letter H.
