Uzhhorod Castle is an extensive citadel on a hill in Uzhhorod, Ukraine, and an architectural monument of national significance. Built in a mixture of styles and materials between the 13th and 18th centuries, it was erected by the Drugeth family, Italian supporters of Charles I of Hungary, as a rectangular defensive structure with rhomboid bastions recalling South Italian castles. Despite numerous sieges, including the last by Francis II Rákóczi in 1703–04, it was never taken.
