Vác Cathedral, formally the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin and St Michael the Archangel, is a Catholic cathedral in the city of Vác, Hungary, and the seat of the Diocese of Vác. Designed by Isidore Canevale in the Baroque style, construction began in 1761 and was completed in 1777, with consecration in 1772. It is the fifth church to stand on the site, and in 1944 a Soviet bomb struck its dome without detonating, an event parishioners remember as a miracle.
