Designed by architect Giovanni Battista Alliprandi and built in 1706 for Count Václav Antonín Chotek, the mansion was later extended under Count Rudolf Chotek, who commissioned interior decoration work. Additional extensions and annexes were added in 1804, incorporating Neoclassical elements.
