Villa Rana is an Art Nouveau building designed by Finnish architect Yrjö Blomstedt and completed in 1905 on Seminaarinmäki in Jyväskylä. Originally built to house the drawing and sculpture rooms of the Jyväskylä seminary, it later served the University of Jyväskylä before facing demolition in the 1960s. The building was rescued when the seminary and College of Education resumed its use, and it was subsequently named Rana after its distinctive frog-themed ornamentation. Following decades of institutional occupation, Villa Rana was sold in 2016 and reopened in 2021 as Kulttuuritalo Villa Rana, a cultural center hosting the Jyväskylä Festival Association, regional film and dance centers, and a children's orchestra. The restored building now contains a forty-four-seat restaurant with a terrace overlooking the University of Jyväskylä's Botanical Garden.
