Located on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, New York, the War Memorial is a Collegiate Gothic structure designed by architect Charles Klauder and completed in 1928. Built in the distinctive style that characterized much of Cornell's early twentieth-century expansion, the memorial honors those who served in war and reflects the architectural language Klauder favored for academic and commemorative buildings of the era.
