Warren Street is a London Underground station located at the intersection of Tottenham Court Road and Euston Road in Fitzrovia, serving the Northern and Victoria lines. Originally opened in 1907 as Euston Road and designed by Leslie Green, the station was substantially refurbished in the 1930s by Charles Holden, when escalators were first installed. A major renovation followed in the late 1960s to accommodate the Victoria line, during which the station temporarily served as a line terminus. The station provides an interchange between its two lines and serves as an exit for the nearby University College Hospital. In 2012, it became the first Underground station to feature dedicated Wi-Fi coverage on its surface.
