The Westory Building is a Beaux-Arts structure in downtown Washington, D.C., designed by architect Henry L.A. Jekel and constructed between 1907 and 1908. Originally a smaller edifice, it was significantly expanded by Shalom Baranes Associates, with the expansion completed in 1990, transforming it into a twelve-story building rising 155.62 feet above ground, plus three additional stories below. Listed on both the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites and the National Register of Historic Places in 2012, the Westory Building represents a blend of early twentieth-century architectural tradition with late twentieth-century expansion.
