The William H. Roberts House, built in 1883 in Pecatonica, Illinois, is a late 19th-century residence that served as both home and medical office for Dr. William H. Roberts, who died just three years after its completion at age 33. The house combines elements from three architectural styles—Italianate, Queen Anne, and Gothic Revival—creating an eclectic design typical of its era. It holds the distinction of being the only building in Pecatonica listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a designation it received in 1979.
