Williams Chapel A.M.E. Church stands at 1198 Glover Street in Orangeburg, South Carolina, a one-story brick structure built between 1915 and 1925 in the Gothic Revival style. The church features two distinctive towers crowned with pyramidal roofs on its facade, along with Gothic arched stained glass windows that punctuate the walls. Constructed on a raised basement, the building reflects the architectural aspirations of the African Methodist Episcopal community in early twentieth-century South Carolina. It was recognized for its historical significance when added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.
