Wilshire Grand Center is a mixed-use skyscraper in the financial district of downtown Los Angeles, occupying an entire city block between Wilshire Boulevard and 7th, Figueroa, and Francisco streets. Designed by David C. Martin and completed in 2017, it stands 1,100 feet (335.3 m) including its spire, making it the tallest building in the United States west of Chicago. It houses offices, retail, observation decks, and the 889-room InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown, whose hotel features the tallest open-air bar in the Western Hemisphere.
