Standing at the center of Wrocław's Market Square, the Old Town Hall is a Brick Gothic landmark constructed beginning in the 13th century and completed around 1300. This imposing structure reflects the city's medieval prosperity and architectural development over centuries. Today it remains a vital civic monument, hosting cultural events and concerts in its Great Hall while serving as home to the city's bourgeois museum. The building also contains the Świdnicka Cellar, claimed to be Europe's oldest restaurant, preserving both the town hall's functional character and Wrocław's heritage as a protected immovable monument in Poland.
