The Wyoming State Capitol stands in Cheyenne, the seat of state government, and was built between 1886 and 1890 in the Renaissance Revival style. About 43 metres tall, it houses the chambers of the Wyoming State Legislature and the office of the Governor. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 1987, it reopened to the public on July 10, 2019, after a three-year renovation.
