Ypenhof is a post-war house and estate in Rotterdam, Netherlands, completed in 1948 as a reconstruction-period architectural project. Designed by a collaborative team that included the renowned landscape architect Mien Ruys, innovative engineer Buckminster Fuller, and Dutch architects Jo van den Broek and Lodewijk Wilhelmus Copijn, the estate represents an ambitious experiment in rebuilding Dutch residential architecture after World War II. Now designated a Rijksmonument, Ypenhof exemplifies the period's forward-looking design principles applied to domestic space and grounds.
