Designed by Nikola Dobrovic and completed in 1965, the Yugoslav Ministry of Defence building is a modern architectural complex located in Savski Venac, Belgrade. Originally built to house the Federal Secretariat of People's Defence and the General Staff of the Yugoslav People's Army, the structure was extensively damaged during the 1999 NATO bombing campaign and subsequently abandoned. Today, the surviving tower of Building B partially accommodates the Serbian Ministry of Defence. Designated a Monument of Culture, the complex remains a significant—though scarred—example of Yugoslav modernist government architecture.
