Completed in 2004 in London's Tower Hamlets, 1 West India Quay is a 33-storey mixed-use skyscraper designed by HOK and developed by Manhattan Loft Corporation and MWB Group Holdings. Standing 111 metres tall just north of the Canary Wharf business estate, the distinctive tower features a glass and aluminium cladding with a knife-edge profile and elegant curves. It was among London's first post-tensioned, concrete-framed towers. The lower twelve floors accommodate a Marriott Hotel with 47 serviced suites on floors 9–12, while the upper twenty-one storeys contain 158 apartments. The building overlooks West India Docks and the broader Canary Wharf estate.
