One Churchill Place is a 156-metre-tall, 32-storey modern skyscraper in Canary Wharf, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, designed by HOK and completed in 2004. Formally opened in June 2005, it serves as the headquarters of Barclays Bank, consolidating the institution's London offices previously scattered across the city, including its former corporate base at 54 Lombard Street. The building ranks as the thirteenth-tallest office block in the United Kingdom and the sixth tallest in the Docklands. Barclays occupies the entire structure; prior tenants included BGC Partners/Cantor Fitzgerald on floors 18–20, the Olympic Delivery Teams ahead of 2012, and the Metropolitan Police on part of level 17. In June 2026, Barclays acquired a 999-year leasehold from Canary Wharf Group for £750 million, securing long-term ownership and signalling its enduring commitment to the development.
