On Colmore Row in Birmingham's Ladywood district stands 103 Colmore Row, a 26-storey commercial office tower completed in 2021. The 108-metre building replaced the brutalist NatWest Tower, a John Madin-designed structure from 1975 that had become the subject of redevelopment proposals beginning in 2008. After Sterling Property Ventures acquired the site in 2015 and secured demolition approval, construction of the new tower began in June 2019. 103 Colmore Row is the tallest office building constructed outside London in the United Kingdom since Alpha Tower's completion in Birmingham in 1973.
