Standing on London Wall in the City of London, 125 London Wall (also known as Alban Gate) is a postmodernist structure designed by Sir Terry Farrell. Completed in the late 1980s to early 1990s, it became one of three landmark projects that established Farrell's reputation during this pivotal period, alongside Embankment Place and Vauxhall Cross. The building exemplifies what critic Deyan Sudjic called "postmodernism at its most exuberant," earning it a place at number 5 in his 2004 list of Ten Triumphs of recent UK architecture.
