Located at the intersection of Water Street and Broad Street in Manhattan's Financial District, 25 Water Street is a brutalist skyscraper completed in 1969. Originally conceived as an office tower, the building operated in that capacity for over five decades before undergoing a significant conversion beginning in 2023 to residential use, transforming it into a mixed-use property with over 1,300 apartments—marking the largest office-to-residential conversion in the United States. The structure sits adjacent to 125 Broad Street, to which it is connected, and abuts the Vietnam Veterans Plaza to its east.
