Acton Town station in London's borough of Ealing is a Grade II listed London Underground station serving the District and Piccadilly lines. Originally opened as Mill Hill Park in 1879, the station acquired its present name in 1910 and was substantially rebuilt in 1931–1932 by architect Charles Holden. Holden's design exemplifies the modern Art Deco aesthetic with geometric forms expressed through brick, reinforced concrete, and glass—hallmarks of his progressive approach to underground railway architecture. The station sits on the surface in West London, positioned between Ealing Common and Chiswick Park on the District line's Ealing Broadway branch.
