The Church of Hagia Sophia in Mystras is a Byzantine structure situated within the fortified medieval town of Mystras in the Peloponnese, Greece. Built as the royal palace church within the palace complex, it served the Byzantine court until the Ottoman conquest, when it was converted into a mosque. Following Greek independence in the early nineteenth century, the church was reclaimed and restored to Christian use. Today it forms part of the Mystras archaeological site, which holds UNESCO World Heritage designation.
