The Algiers Central Post Office, located on Boulevard Mohamed-Khemisti in Alger Centre, stands as Algeria's largest post office building. Designed by architects Jules Voinot and Marius Toudoire and completed in 1910, the structure exemplifies Moorish architectural style, reflecting the aesthetic traditions of North Africa during the colonial period. Originally built to serve as the primary postal hub for the city, the building was repurposed in 2015 when the state converted it into a museum, preserving both its architectural significance and its role as a cultural landmark.
