The Alte Burg is an early medieval ringwork castle located in the borough of Market Maroldsweisach in Haßberge county, Lower Franconia, Bavaria, situated between the villages of Altenstein and Lichtenstein. Today designated as a Kulturdenkmal (cultural monument) and archaeological site, it represents a significant surviving example of early medieval fortification design in the region.
