The Alte Weser Lighthouse is an offshore structure located at the mouth of the Weser estuary in the German Bight of the southern North Sea, built on sand between 1961 and 1964. Commissioned on 1 September 1964, it assumed the navigational duties of the historical Roter Sand Lighthouse, which had served the region since its completion in 1885.
