The Americana Hotel was a Miami Modern hotel designed by architect Morris Lapidus and completed in 1956 on Miami Beach, Florida. Built during the height of the Miami Beach resort boom, the hotel exemplified Lapidus's signature style, characterized by dramatic curves, vivid colors, and theatrical ornamentation that defined the era's most exuberant tropical modernism. The hotel stood for over fifty years before its demolition in 2007.
