The Arsenal de Metz, a concert hall located near the Esplanade garden in Metz, the capital of Lorraine, France, was originally built as an arsenal in 1864 and later transformed into a cultural venue specializing in classical and art music. Recognized as one of the world's most beautiful concert halls, it serves as the home of the Orchestre National de Lorraine and hosts nearly 200 events annually between September and June. The Arsenal forms part of a significant cultural complex that includes the 13th-century Chapel of the Knight Templars and the 4th-century Roman basilica of Saint-Pierre-aux-Nonnains, which has been refurbished as a venue for Gregorian chant performances.
