The Asics Arena in Sofia, Bulgaria, is a brutalist multi-purpose hall completed in 1968 and originally named Festival Hall. Designed by architect Ivan Tatarov, the venue exemplifies the bold geometric forms and massive concrete construction characteristic of brutalist architecture. Since its opening, it has served variously as a sports venue and music hall, hosting events across disciplines and remaining a notable example of mid-twentieth-century Bulgarian modernism.
