Designed by Otto Wagner and completed in 1906, the Austrian Postal Savings Bank in Vienna's Innere Stadt district stands as a landmark of the Vienna Secession movement and Art Nouveau architecture. The building's innovative use of reinforced concrete—then a revolutionary material—distinguishes its construction, which took place between 1904 and 1906. An extension followed in 1910–1912. Originally housing the Österreichische Postsparkasse, the building now serves as headquarters for BAWAG P.S.K. bank following a 2005 merger, and occupies a prominent position at Georg-Coch-Platz near the Ringstrasse.
