The B. A. and Ruth Stover House is a two-story English Cottage style residence in Bend, Oregon, completed in 1927 and designed by architect Hugh Thompson. Built of clapboard and stucco with characteristic gabled forms, the house sits on the northern shore of Mirror Pond—a reservoir created in 1909 by the damming of the Deschutes River for hydroelectric power—on land that was formerly an Indian campground. Thompson, a friend of the Stovers, also designed the nearby Capitol Theater on Wall Street. The house was constructed by contractor Henry Nelson and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
