The Bachzaal in Amsterdam is a concert hall and theatre building designed by architect Piet Vorkink and completed in 1931. Built in the distinctive Amsterdam School style—characterized by expressive brickwork, curved forms, and decorative detail—the structure reflects the architectural idiom that flourished in early twentieth-century Amsterdam. Now recognized as a municipal monument in the Netherlands, the Bachzaal remains a notable example of interwar cultural architecture in the city.
