Bellesguard (Casa Figueras), a Catalan modernist manor house designed by Antoni Gaudí, rises in the Sarrià-Sant Gervasi district of Barcelona. Constructed between 1900 and 1909, the mansion occupies ground once home to a country residence of Martin, king of Aragon and count of Barcelona. Gaudí's design was aided by collaborators Joan Rubió and Domènec Sugrañes i Gras, the latter responsible for the decorative mosaics that adorn the house. Recognized as a Cultural Asset of National Interest, Bellesguard exemplifies early modernist architecture in Catalonia.
