The Biblioteca Joaquín Leguina building in Madrid is a neo-Mudéjar structure completed in 1912 by architects Emilio Tuñón, Eugenio Jiménez Corera, and Luis Moreno Mansilla. Constructed of brick, this former factory transformed into a library exemplifies the decorative richness of the neo-Mudéjar style, which drew inspiration from medieval Islamic architecture in Spain. Recognized as a bien de interés cultural, the building represents an important example of early twentieth-century Madrid's adaptive reuse of industrial spaces for cultural purposes.
