Rising 47 meters above Berlin's Steglitz district, the Bierpinsel is a striking futurist restaurant and tower completed in 1976 by architects Ursulina Schüler-Witte and Ralf Schüler. Its playful name—literally "beer brush"—belies its bold modernist form, which exemplifies the daring architectural experimentation of its era. Located on Schloßstraße in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf neighborhood, the building's distinctive futuristic design earned it recognition as a protected heritage structure in January 2017, securing its place as a notable landmark in Berlin's twentieth-century architectural landscape.
