Booker T. Washington High School, located near London in Kanawha County, West Virginia, is a two-story, L-shaped Streamline Moderne building erected in 1925 as a high school for African American students during the era of segregated education. Constructed of wire brick with a rear section in tile block and brick, it served as one of only two early high schools for African Americans in the county. Following desegregation in 1956, the building was repurposed as a junior high school and later an elementary school before closing in 1986. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999 and now operates as a community center.
