Located in Kyiv's Pecherskyi District, the Brodsky Synagogue was completed in 1898 by architect Georg Schleifer as a striking blend of Romanesque Revival and Moorish Revival styles. Its design—featuring a tripartite façade with a prominent central avant-corps flanked by lower wings—echoes the characteristic proportions of Moorish Revival synagogues such as Vienna's Leopoldstädter Tempel, while its overall form resembles a classical basilica. The structure ranks as the second largest synagogue in Kyiv and continues to serve as an Orthodox Jewish house of worship.
