The Lifshyts Synagogue in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, completed in 1897, is a striking example of Moorish Revival architecture designed by architect Nikolay Gordenin. Built as a choral synagogue and major communal landmark, the structure reflects the ornamental aesthetic of nineteenth-century Moorish Revival style, which drew inspiration from Islamic architectural traditions. The building served as both a religious and cultural institution for Vinnytsia's Jewish community during this period of Eastern European Jewish life.
