The Cactus Motor Lodge was a Pueblo Revival Style motel built in 1941 by I.E. and Edna Perry along historic U.S. Route 66 in Tucumcari, New Mexico. The complex consisted of three wings of units arranged in a "U" shape surrounding an office that doubled as a dance hall when the lodge opened. In 1952, new owner Norm Wegner added an artificial stone exterior and converted the dance hall into office space. Following Route 66's decommissioning, the motel's fortunes declined; by the 1990s it had transitioned into an RV park as the original units fell vacant. The motel's distinctive neon sign underwent restoration in 2008 before being sold and relocated to an Albuquerque neon-sign park in 2018. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006 and the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties, the property was eventually demolished after being purchased by O'Reilly Auto Parts.
